Form Patties –
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently and shape into 4 patties.
Cook Patties –
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties 3–4 minutes per side, until browned and cooked to your liking. Add cheese slices during the last minute of cooking if desired.
Prepare Lettuce Wraps –
- Separate large lettuce leaves and pat them dry. Use 2 leaves per burger to create a sturdy wrap.
Assemble Burgers –
- Place a lettuce leaf flat, add the burger patty, then layer with tomato, onion, pickles, and sauces. Top with another lettuce leaf and fold around the burger.
Serve & Enjoy –
- Secure with toothpicks if needed and enjoy fresh!
Notes
- Use iceberg lettuce for crunch or romaine for flexibility.
